Problem getting Google Pixel XL to work with Camera Connect

Had no problem with Samsung Note 5. Took pictures with my Canon EOS 6Ti and used Camera Connect to upload to my phone and then sent them out via social media. Since I have purchased the Google XL I have been unable to get the phone and camera connected. Am I the only Pixel owner having this problem? Sure would appreciate any assistance to help resolve it.

I had the same problem and it ended up being a simple fix.

Turn the cellular data off.

Settings --> Data Usage --> Click the "Cellular data" option to disable it.

It seems to be ignoring the wifi because it doesn't have internet access.

Just remember to turn on cellular data when you are finished 🙂
