CANON T6 rebel 18x55mm lense not autofocusing

Ok, so I accidentally dropped my camera, since then the autofocus will not work. It unfortunately fell on the lense. When it is in autofocus it won't turn, you can hear it trying but it's like "stuck" if I place my fingers on the ring, it will turn and autofocusb but only when I have my finger on it. It works fine in manual mode. Is there anyway I can fix this myself? Or suggestions. It's an 18x55mm lense that came with the kit.
