Rebel T6 wifi password reset

I just got my EOS Tebel T6 and made the wifi password. Once I tried to connect and I put the password in, it couldn't because I forgot it. Any way I can reset it?!

If deleting your connection and creating a new one does not work, you will need to reset your camera back to factory defaults.

The wifi menu has a reset option. Once reset, it will once again take you through the wifi setup with the password.

Can't find the reset option. Just the "clear wifi settings" which only lets me create new nickname not new password.

That's what you want. It will give you the password when you start the setup process again.

I've done this several times on my own T6S and it has worked every time. Did you "forget" the Canon network on your phone first? If you didn't, try that before the reset of the camera's wifi settings.

I can find the network from my phone. I'm trying to connect the camera to my phone.
When I click the network name on my phone, it asks for the password. I forgot the password.

You have to forget/delete the network on your phone. Then start over, after clearing your camera's wifi settings.

I have done this at least 10 times...deleted the camera connect app and reinstalled it, reset my camera settings. It will not delete and I am beyond frustrated! Help!

The wifi password is on the camera wifi display...it is the encryption key.

Tried to reset password on canon t6i so I could synth it with iphone but cannot find default on menu nor how to erase and create a new password.

As long as you are in one of the Automatic Shooting Modes you will not see the full menu system. If you want to see the full menu system, then you must turn the top dial to one of the Creative Shooting Modes: P, Tc, Av, or M. B works, too.

Followed instructions given to find password but was unable t6i. Please need more detailed instructions on how to do this. Went through all the menus and could not find anything that tells me to change or delete password. Help.
