Rebel XT DS 126071 does not work

My daughter's rebel xt model DS 126071 stopped working. What replacement camera body will work with the lenses she already has for it? I want to surprise her for Chriistmas, but I hope I can just purchase a new or refurbished camera that she can use with her lenses.

Any current Canon DSLR will work. You might look to the T4i Rebel or maybe the 60D.

Your best bet is T4i (Newest Entry level). There are many good sales right now for this new model.

Look if you can get benefit of Canon Loyalty program.

Look at Promotional section of the site to see if there is any Camera body only at good price so that she can use her compatible lenses.
