Hi,

I got the new canon EOS Rebel T5, and I will be using it remotely from far away. I have the software, and I love it. I can focus and unfocus etc, but I find the zoom adjuster. Zooming in and out remotely is very important. Does it exist?

Thanks

Which lens?

If you have the new 18-135 USM it can use the PZ-E1 zoom adapter. However, I don't know if it is compatible with the T5.

from the B&H web site, which also reports the device is not yet available for delivery, BTW

Designed to provide smoother, more natural zoom movements when recording video, the PZ-E1 Power Zoom Adapter is compatible with the Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens, and facilitates electronic zoom control. The adapter connects to the lens via an integrated locking mechanism, it features both speed mode and zoom mode switches, and remote-controlled zooming is also possible in conjunction with the EOS 80D using the Canon Camera Connect app or EOS Utility software. Compared to manually rotating the lens' zoom ring, this adapter enables steadier adjustment over zooming speed for repeatable effects.

It would seem that the PZ-E1 is only compatible with the EOS 80D Camera, Canon's newest APS-C camera body.
