    <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, it showed a preview of each of the pictures after they were taken. I just connected my camera back to my computer using the cord, but it's still not showing any new images. I just took a random picture, not changing any settings, and that image was retained, so I am unsure how to check for the image type on my computer, or how to make other types available to be seen? &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I recently took pictures at a friends wedding, but when I turned the camera back on the pictures were not showing up. The camera acknowledges that there were pictures taken because the counter skips from 1274 to 1395, but no matter what I do I cannot find the actual pictures. Is there any way to get them back? I've tried plugging it into my computer and that did not help either. I would be sick if these pictures were lost completely.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestions?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Remove the memory&amp;nbsp;card, and try to read it directly with a laptop or PC.&amp;nbsp; If at all possible, do not put that card back in the camera until you have recovered your pictures.&amp;nbsp; Use another card, and format it in the camera.&amp;nbsp; It helps to spare cards.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a Macbook Pro. I've just been putting the memory card into the card reader slot on the side of the computer. I've been shooting in JPEG. The folder&amp;nbsp;"DCIM"&amp;nbsp;comes up, and when I click on it another folder "100 Canon" come up with photos that were previously taken, but the photos from the wedding are not. There is a folder titled "MISC" but when I open it there is nothing inside. I'm not very experienced with the camera yet, so I don't have any other type of program other than what came with my computer to view them.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Are you certain that the images were saved as JPEG?&amp;nbsp; Have you tried to "Import" any photos from the camera using the EOS utility?&amp;nbsp; It is more likely that the files are there, but the OS is not displaying them to you because of the file types, than it is for the files to simply disappear for no apparent reason.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Was the camera malfunctioning when the photos were taken?&amp;nbsp; Didn't the camera show previews after every shot?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Different camera models write their images into folders with different names.       <description>&lt;P&gt;katherin,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;First off, stop using the SD card. &amp;nbsp;Don't take any additional photos&amp;nbsp;on it. &amp;nbsp;If there is a problem it may write new shots on top of the wedding pictures. &amp;nbsp;If that happens they will truly&amp;nbsp;be lost so stop using it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Stop using the camera to get the photos to the computer. Use the slot on the computer or a card reader.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What brand&amp;nbsp;SD card do you have? &amp;nbsp;Depending on that answer, try to find, or one may have come with&amp;nbsp;the card, a recovery software.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Some are free. Some are not but this could be the only way to recover the shots if there was a problem. &amp;nbsp;At any rate it &lt;STRONG&gt;will display&lt;/STRONG&gt; the wedding shots if at all possible.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
