    <description>&lt;P&gt;My T3i isnt taking pictures at anything less than a 35mm. its making the noise as if its trying to close the shutter to take trhe picture and the screen turns black but it just wont capture. any suggestions?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What lens do you have?&amp;nbsp; Without knowing anything else, it sounds like a&amp;nbsp;cable ribbon inside your zoom lens&amp;nbsp; had been damaged (by the zooming in and out), preventing proper operation at a certain zoom range.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When the lens can't focus, the camera won't take a picture.&amp;nbsp; If the ribbon damage&amp;nbsp; is the case, you need to send the lens in for repair.&amp;nbsp; Some people buy the part and do it themselves (which is beyond my ability).&amp;nbsp; You should try another lens to rule out some other reasons.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What do you mean "less than 35 mm", do you mean the zoom setting on the lens?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
