I have not been able to get my two android devices both running different version of Android 4.2 - I cannot get either device to pair with the camera. I have been able to pair an iOS device. With the android devices it sees the camera but sits at the pairing screen forever.

Thoughts? Frustrated!

Thanks,

T

Are you trying to connect directly to the camera or through a LAN?

I remember having similar problems hooking up my 6D and it turned out to be something simple each time. One thing that was hanging me up the first time was that if the phone is on WiFi you have to disconnect it from your router otherwise it won't connect to the camera. There was another but it's not coming to me right now, perhaps after a cup of coffee...

Thanks for the suggestions - no luck. I gave Canon a call - the tech had my phone and 70D and we went through the steps - still wouldn't connect but his worked just fine. I have been able to pair using the infrastructure mode - just not that direct mode. Frustrating.
