I have had my T5i for a year now and when i try to record, the battery "emoji" comes up and fills all the way up and then the screen says it has abruptly stopped my recording. It confuses me because I take really good care of my camera and i like to post things up on youtube and this is seriously making it hard. I don't know if this happens to other people. Please let me know if this at one point happened to you too
