topic 70D - Busy - please wait....... in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

I am using a 70D, for indoor sports photography (no flash or external lights), EFS 55-250mm image stabilizer lens, memory 32gb extreme pro 95mb. The lighting is dim, with a combination of LED, and halogen. When using continuous shooting the camera will only take 2 or 3 photos, goes out of focus and stops with a Busy please wait saving. This just started happening. Trying to figure out why, never had this happen before.

You might want to check the MENU to see whether the Noise reduction for long exposure option or some other noise reduction options have been turned on. These options will slow the camera down to a crawl while offering questionable benefit (noise can be cleaned up in post).

You may get better results if disable all Noise Reduction settings, particularly High ISO Noise Reduction, if that model has it. If you shoot RAW, you do not need any a lot of stuff. Disable Lens Aberration Correction., Auto Lighting Optimizer, Highlight Tone Priority, or anything else that reduces noise or applies some sort of image correction.
