Canon Eos t5i not recognized by Windows 10

Hello,

I am getting frustrated at the fact that I can't even upload my pictures to Windows 10 because it doesn't recognize the camera. I've tried installing all the software from the CD that came with my camera and it's not at all useful. Can anyone suggest how I can just get my camera to be recognized in Windows 10? Should be a very simple thing but I'm stuck. Thank you in advance. ~Joel

Do you have a version of Windows that doesn't have the Media device software?

Thanks for your reply! I don't understand why but Windows started recognizing the camera today, so the problem (for now) is resolved. Thanks for your response.
