rebel XTi problem

for some reason, my XTi now takes as long as the exposure time to render an image on the display... really sucks for long term exposures! (stars etc...) anyone seen this before??? didn't used to do this... please help!!

Bad CF card. Replace it.

Do you have dark frame Noise reduction enabled?

Sounds like you have Long Exposure Noise Reduction enabled.

thank you!!! somehow noise reduction was on auto... fixed!!!!
