topic Canon 70d -external Flash not contacting well in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

I am facing an issue with external flash unit. It seems like the slot is loose or something like that and the flash is not always shooting. I often have to press the flash unit at the base of lock, towards the front, and then it operates. Is there an easy solution or du I have to send the camera at the service unit?
