topic Grainy Video- Canon Rebel t3i in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

Hello. I filmed makeup tutorial videos on my canon and for some reason certain things in the video (shimmer eyeshadow aka my eyelids) look extremely grainy and I’m not sure why. I’ve looked up what settings should be where and my ISO is set at 400. If this is the reason and I need to lower it, what do I need to change the brightness as this washes out my face? Thank you all in advance!

Hello Jcal314,

We recommend using the lowest possible ISO when shooting video. If possible, add more light to the scene as this will also help with the grain in the footage.
