Canon 5D Mark IV. Display and back of camera buttons become unresponsive for 30 seconds

While shooting or back button focusing my 5D Mark IV will lock up and the touch screen will not show the last shot image. Also all the buttons on the back of the camera will stop working. I have found that the dial control on the top of the camera will snap the camera out of this lock. This started happening about 3 weeks ago but seems to be worsening.

I've tried different batteries, resetting settings to factory, reflashing latest firmware. different lenses, different cards.

No water damage or drops. Camera is less than a year old. Will be sending in for repair unless anyone has ideas? ALso just cleaned by CPS at shutterfest so contacts and all should be good.

Sending it in is the best course of action. You may want to contact Canon Support on the phone before you send it in, though.
