topic Is their a quality differential if I shoot a photo in live mode? in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

Camera: 70D

This may seem like a silly question but since I'm shooting on a crop sensor, I like to sometimes check my focus through the live mode screen and not the viewfinder. When I take the photo though on the live mode screen it doesn't sound like the normal shutter noise. It sounds more like the silent shooting so I'm thinking it's more mechanics related. All in all, I wanted to know if the image quality suffers at all if I shoot a photo through the live mode? Does the quality suffer if I shoot in silent mode? Thanks for the help and explanation in advance.

Brandon
