I have an issue with my Canon E05 1100D. Its set to autofocus yet when I depress the shutter a timer appears on the screen and it takes 8 seconds to take a photo. Sometimes its not taking photos at all. I've looked at the manual but have been unable to resolve the issue. I'd be grateful for any advice. Thanks

Sounds like selftimer is set.

Great thank you. It's worked. I have another question. After Ive taken a photo I can see the picture plus a graph on the screen. Before I just saw the photo. Can you let me know how to alter this. Many thanks

Cycle the Info button to change what is displayed on LCD.
