      <description>Hi, I have had my 60D Canon for 7 years nows and the other day when I used it, it lasted 5 minutes and completely turned off.&lt;BR /&gt;Can anyone help me why this happend?&lt;BR /&gt;I have checked to see if its the battery but that is fine.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Was battery fully charged? Is it the original battery? Do you have a second battery to try?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;There are two micro-switches that will cause the camera to shut down. &amp;nbsp;One is on the memory card door and the other is on the battery compartment door. &amp;nbsp;You'll notice a small tab on the door that has to engage the switch. &amp;nbsp;If either door isn't closed the camera wont power up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's possible the switch isn't fully engaged. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Of course it could be something completely different.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
