Doesn't seem to be where they're putting their priorities. Canon has released 3 new full frame cameras in the last year or so. It's unlikely that they'll come out with a new one soon. I think (hope) we'll see a new crop sensor come out, hopefully for the 7D and 70D cameras. Then they'll use the new tech on full frame, but that'll be years off.
