There is a dinstinct line down the middle of all of my photos and videos from my brand new (just got it today) Canon EOS Rebel T6i w/EFS 18-55 mm lens. look to the right of the white door on the wall - there is a line going right down the middle - this happens with all photos and videos...

Looks like a bad column in the sensor. If you enlarge image to full size on the LCD can you see it? Take it back and check new one in store before you leave if possible.

Didn't we see a similar case a couple of months ago that turned out to be a consequence of the specialized focusing system on one of the newer Rebels?

First call Canon support.

If it is and it looks like, a bad sensor, either return it or send it in to Canon for service.
