If you take a look at the raw histogram, you will see that you could have collect more photons. Instead of 1/1000 sec you could have used 1/500 sec or 1/250 sec without clipping the highlights. The focus seems to be closer than the car. Live view is slower but focus more correct than using the viewfinder.

I also think this may help you http://community.usa.canon.com/t5/EOS/Image-output-from-RAW-is-grainy/td-p/203149

If I would have taken that scen, I think I would have used f/2.8 to eliminate a digital ISO boost (check the link) and to get sharper image. I would also have used ISO 100 to be able to collect more photons and perhaps 1/125 second to get the histogram exposed to the right.

Afternoon All,

Having a bit of trouble with my 750D, its become a real problem now since getting it brand new 6 months ago,

whether im sutting manual or porgam, auto iso or set, 100 to the max in any kind of light, including 100/200 in the extreme sunlight (that didnt last long here in the UK). there is grain. Not a bit, as in, an awful lot. Lightroom does help but I wish I could be like those who dont require edits on their supercar photos. I've also tried the noise reduction setting, no difference. When it comes to me using someone elses camera, including a Nikon, im okay and have no grain.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

-Thanks
