    <description>&lt;P&gt;Wait I found out what the issue is.... It dosnt like the Wifi function being enabled. Once i switched it off both Photo and the utility opened.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"Wi-Fi/NFC] is set to [Enable], the camera cannot be connected to a computer.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm running El Capitan 10.11.6 on my desktop Mac and cannot connect to either the EOS Utility or to Photos. I've tried re-installing the software and I get nowhere. My camera is a 1300D. Please be gentle, im new to the DSLR and digital photo world.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I look forward to your replies and thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;img id="manhappy" class="emoticon emoticon-manhappy" src="https://community.usa.canon.com/i/smilies/16x16_man-happy.png" alt="Man Happy" title="Man Happy" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Does the camera show up in the Finder?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you got to Image Finder what is it set to do?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If if you remove card from camera and plug into computer card reader what happens?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The camera does not show up in Finder and in Image Capture, it only recognises my Iphone. Also my ye olde desktop doesn not have an SD card slot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for replying John.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
