serial at the botton of a SX60 camera is not recognized when i try to download driver. how to solve?

When I try to download the driver for my new SX60 HS, Canon site asks for the serial number. But the site does not recognize the serial number that is at the botton of camera. I do not have the box anymore. Any help?

What driver? There are no drivers available that I know of.

Are you sure you are entering the correct number? The serial number is the one in the silver square.

It is not properly a driver, but a set of softwares to be installed in a computer. They are described in the Canon site page of the camera. When I try to download, the page asks for the serial number, so to download the correct file. But the serial # in the botton of the camera is not recognized...

http://regex.info/exif.cgi it can be found in the Exif info
