Dropped my EOS 5DM3. It has a crack

Dropped the camera and now it has a crack about one inch long next to the "Canon" logo and below the flash attachment. The camera is working fine but I am gong to send it to Canon for a check. My question is, Any concern that humidity might buit inside the camera because the crack if I decide not to fix it?

Cracks in the body are not good. I would get it repaired. Use your best judgement. If Canon repairs it, they will give the camera a thorough going over. The camera should seem as good as new when you get it back.

I'm not sure how they could repair a cracked magnesium body short of replacing it. Maybe I'm wrong.

Now both of us know it has to be fixed. Don't we? It is too nice and expensive of a camera to not repair it. It isn't going to be cheap to fix. I will assure you that humidity is not the only thing that will get in where it shouldn't be.
