    <description>&lt;P&gt;Is it only the picture display that turns purple, or the menus and information displays, too?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In any case, if the images are coming out balck, it looks like either a bad sensor or a bad connection to the sensor. Either way, it will take Canon to fix it and it might not be worth it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Purple Screen T3i</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Often the LCD on my T3i turns purple and then green and white lines appear and move as I change the shutter speed. The pictures come out black. I have had my camera for two years and have always had this problem no matter which lens I am using. I take the battery out for a while and put it back in and I turn it off and on and nothing seems to make it go back to normal - it randomly goes back to normal, seemingly, when it wants to. Any suggestions of fixing it or getting it repaired?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
