How are you getting them into the macBook?

(Are you ingesting them into Final Cut? Could it be converting to ProRes with the new resolution?)

Hi guys

I have a problem. No matter what setting I choose, all my FHD recordings only show up as 1280x720 on my macbook.

I usually record in FHD, 1920:1080, 29.97P, MP4 or MOV. But like I said, all other settings end up as 720p too.

I searched online but couldn't find anything.

Does anyone know if I'm just missing an obvious setting or is there something else I should try?

Thanks in advance!

Nick

I actually just figured it out.

It was the Photos App, the one that automatically launches to import pictures and videos. Videos imported through that were for some reason downscaled.

Importing directly through Image Capture did the trick.

Thanks a lot anyways!
