can anyone help me post a picture on this site? I have tried to post in Macro area, but I can't get it to work. help...

When you create a post, or reply, you type your text into an editing box. One of the icons on the top edge allows you to post photos. For example, the first icon is a capital "B", which allows you to highlight text and make it BOLD.

Those icons along the top edge are pretty standard icons for word processing software applications.
