Any suggestions for how to import pictures from Canon EOS 2000D to Macbook pro?

I have USB-C cable on my Macbook and the standard ports on the camera. What cable do you suggest to import photos directly onto MacBook? I've been using the Canon Camera Connect which has been great over wifi but I still can't import them from my samsung phone to my macbook in full size. Google photos shrinks their size / resolution and i want them to be full size so i can work on them futher with my photo editing app (pixelmator and fotor.

Any suggestions would be appreciated and any links to Amazon (for the necessary cables I would need to purchase) would be awesome / fantabulous

Can't link, but Amazon sells several brands of USB-A to USB-C adapters. One brand is "nonda".
