Mainly 6 Mega Pixels (18 vs 24) and better high-ISO performance.

The T5/1200D is a 18MP camera released in 2014

The T6/1300D is a 18MP camera released in 2016 (basically a T5 with WiFi added)

The T7/2000D is a 24MP camera released in 2018 (basically a T6 with more MegaPixels)

I am on a limited budget and this is my Birthday gift but I feel lost without my camera

I would go for the T7i.

It has much better ISO performance and autofocus, including phase detect AF during live view mode.

For me, one of the biggest reason to recommend the T7i over the T7 is the built-in Dust-Reduction (automatic sensor cleaning).

As a beginner, you are not going to want to clean the dust off the sensor yourself. The cost of 2 or 3 professional cleanings might just cover the difference in cost between the 2 cameras.

To answer your first question, not much if you are not a pixel peeper. Questionable useful wi-fi. However any newer camera is going to be the best buy over older tech.

Hey, Kido, so is everybody else. How much do you like photography? Is it worth the extra money? Yes, no, up to you. Both will take beautiful photos. The T7i has more features that only you know whether you will benefit from them. Will you enjoy it more, I suspect you will because you said, "I feel lost without my camera". That tells me it means a lot to you.

I walk outside and I feel naked now
GOD puts so much in our sight and I capture a lot of it
I have taken maybe 650,000 oictures since I was given this T 5 for my birthday years ago
and now I have NO camera
I wish I had the money for the best camera but on disability I am limited !
I do sell and donate a lot of my pictures to charity eb=vents tho and now I am being asked wheres all your pictures UGHHHH
anyways THANK YOU ALL so very much for your inout now I am checking on a T7i
will my T5 lenses still work for that one too

All your T5 lenses will work with the T7i.

Your T5 LP-E10 battery won't fit the T7i. The T7i uses a larger LP-E17 battery.

Did you click on the link I gave you? If you did you can take a look at this one click here <---------- . It is the same T7i with the latest 18-55mm zoom for only $50 bucks more. It is on sale for $130 off.

Your old lenses will work just fine but your batteries will not. Keep in mind your 18-55mm zoom has seen the same 650K shots as the camera did. So, is $50 worth a new and newer lens?
