7D EOS utility 2.11 live view won't work in EL Capitan

I have an original 7D camera and am using EOS Utility 2.11 and live view does not work. I went to downloads and I saw that there were no downloads available for EL Capitan. I notice on Google that there a lot of people having the same problem that I am having. What gives?

Your software is out of date. Go to the Canon support website and download the latest update to EOS Utility (which is currently up to version 3.3). It does work with Mac OS X 10.11 (aka "El Capitan").

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your response. I went to Canon support and found that the only download available for my original 7D was utility 2.14.20a. I think that EOS 3.30 is for the 7D MkII.
