When you take pictures do they write ot the card?

Can you read the card on a computer?

Did you format the cards somewhere other than in the camera?

Look inside the camera card slot and look for bent pins.

If the camera does everything normal, but, reformat cards you might try reinstalling the latest firmware version.

Can you read the card on a computer? yes

Did you format the cards somewhere other than in the camera? Only in another camera

Look inside the camera card slot and look for bent pins. no

If the camera does everything normal, but, reformat cards you might try reinstalling the latest firmware version.

Thank you for your help. We were hoping to fix it in-house. We have decided to send it to the camera shop for repairs.

What other camera did you use the card in? Did you format it in that camera?

I loaned a card to a friend that she used in her Nikon. Afterward, it would not work in my Canon. So, first I reformatted it in my computer, then formatted it again in my Canon. Then it worked fine.
