Dlsr 60d flashing 99when trying to take some photos.

Hi everyone I'm new. Just hoping someone can help me. My 60d works great but sometimes it will flash 99 in the eye viewer in the right hand corner. Usually I find this when I have on auto photos and the light isn't great. I have looked up and found there is a err 99 but I don't think it's that as it isn't coming up on my Lcd screen as a error.

Thanks in advance any help would be much appreciated.

That is your burst indicator. How many shots till buffer is full. If 99 is blinking it means more than 99.
