Canon Mark iii live view for double exposure not working.

Not sure what happened, it used to work before then just stopped. I've never changed any of my settings & have reset the camera back to original settings. When I go to multiple exposure mode, take my first photo (in live view or not), I'd like to be able to see my first image to overlay my second. Often it isn't even double exposing. 😞 Anyone help to help with this?

Hi thanks yes tried that, I think it has somethign to do with my live view?
