5d mk iii can't recognize card

recently took some shots with my 5d mk iiii allwent well. Put card in reader and photos downloaded to computer. Then put card back in camera tried to refomat and no go. message says cannot read card or reformat. tried another card same results. using lexar 32gig 1066 anyhelp

Do the cards format in your computer? Try that and then try to format it with the 5D Mk III.

Inspect the card bay (with card removed). Are there any bent pins at at the bottom of the card slot?

hi, the pins were bent unbelievably from heat. was on the road and kept the camera in trunk for a few days. so when i

took the card out to download the pins were comprimised lesson learned oh by the way this is not covered under warranty

have signed up for CPS worked out fine. had camera back in 36hrs
