I need help transferring photos from my Canon EOS 70 D to my phone, using WI FI.

I downloaded the CANON CAMERA CONNECT app to my phone and followed all the instructions that came with the camera. My phone is temporarily connected to my camera, then I receive a message on my phone that states "CAMERA NOT CONNECTED"??? Can anybody help me out ? I am trying to transfer pics from my camera to my phone.

Camera : Canon EOS 70D

Phone: LG Volt

App : Canon Camera Connect

Thanks for posting.

I recommend that you look over the guide we have on our website for setting up a direct connection with your smartphone. The guide (linked below) has step-by-step instructions with illustrations. The only change has been the Canon Camera Connect app. The guide will mention the EOS Remote app, which was replaced by the Canon Camera Connect app.
