Can anyone tell me what is going on here? This isn't the only picture. Everything was fine at the beginning of my hike. The camera was not dropped. I did not change lens. This streak showed up very slight at first, not even noticeable until I went back through the pictures. I have changed lens and it still appears so I assume it's the camera. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Camera Model Canon EOS 70D

Shooting Mode Program AE

Lens EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM

Focal Length 109.0 mm

Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/500

Av( Aperture Value ) 10.0

Broken shutter. Common on 70D I would say. You need to send it in for replacing the shutter.

Your shutter should looks like this http://commonsensephotography.com/img/web/shutter-shutter.jpg

In your case, one of the blades are stuck.
