    <description>&lt;P&gt;No you don't need to be in A+ mode to have the camera autofocus while recording video.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You seem to be in over your head. You've bought equipment, but, don't know how to use it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My suggestion would be to start by reading the full manual from cover to cover.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are also lot of useful videos on Youtube that might help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Can I use the A+ Auto Setting on the Canon 70D with the Rode VideoMic Pro Microphone</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;I have the Canon 70D and had to turn the dial to "M" manual mode to adust my settings.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Can I turn the dial back to "A+" mode and will the camera keep the same settings.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I had to adust the Rode in "M" mode to get the sound adusted, now I want to switch back to A+ Auto mode for video recording as that is why I bought the Canon 70D because I'm new to video recording and wanted the auto focus.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I want to use the Rode but I have to be able to use the Canon 70D's auto focus features (I think it has to be in A+ mode I'm not positive).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;What is the best place for the dial to be set on for video recording... or does it not matter with video?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
