Canon EOS Rebel T7 and OBS Cam Link help!

Hello!

I am trying to use my Rebel T7 and an Elgato Cam Link 4k with OBS to stream on Twitch. The issue I am having is that I have a white Focus box on me at all times and I cannot figure out how to make it go away. Please help!

I attribute such things to gremlins in the camera. Glad someone understood the question as I sure didn't.

Yes, that is one work around. That is how this entry level camera works.

The camera body is not capable of Clean HDMI output. Seeing how the image sensor is not a Dual Pixel AF sensor, the camera lacks Movie Servo AF, anyhow. This means a firmware update will not upgrade the camera body to have it.
