7D mark II How many focus points available

Hi Guys

When I use a longer focal length on my 7D mark II, the right and left section of focus points are always flashing. Does it mean that those points aren't available with this lens?

Yes, that's right. On some lenses, some of the AF points will either be disabled (not displayed) or horizontal or vertical sensitive only (blinking). See pages 94 and 100-107 in the full manual.
