The Rebel G is a all plastic 35mm SLR film camera. It will use any EF lenses, not EF-S lenses. It is a plastic camera with a plastic lens mount. Feels like a kid toy camera but it works if you get a good working unit. It is over 20 years old and I don't remember what battery one takes.

There was the EOS 2000 which was a super popular film camera and perhaps a better choice. It is still a plastic camera though.

Before I buy it, I was wondering if anyone has prior experience with it and would know what kind of battery the camera uses and other general tips and recommendations for the camera.
