Warranty on Repair

How long is the warranty after a repair? I am unable to locate my receipt, and my EOS DLSR has again stopped working. I think it has been about 4 months since the repair. Thanks in advance!

Wouldn't you get more accurate information by calling the people that repaired it? I'm assuming it is Canon.

Yes, it was Canon. I was thinking they had a general warranty.

I've had afew repairs but never really paid attention to the warrranty part of it. Sorry I could not help.

Hi LisaN,

The warranty on your repaired EOS camera depends on a couple of things. If your camera is 1 year old or less when it's repaired,, the warranty on the repair expires when the warranty for the camera expires.

EOS Cameras repaired outside of the new camera warranty are warranted for 6 ,months.
