EOS M50 Mark II won't record past 15 seconds

I have a EOS 50 MArk II and for some reason it won't record past 15 sec. What am I doing wrong?

Is this all video formats?

Have you tried reformatting the card or a new empty card?

Do any warning signs show up on the LCD like a temperature warning?

First let me start by saying I am baby to camaras. And there is no warning sign on the screen. I have reformatted my sd card. I was thinking I may need to purchase a more expensive card.

Also the light blinks but I don't know what that means

What light blinks? If it is the card access light, that is normal.

What size and type of card do you have? Is it a full size card or mini with adapter?

Do you have a 5D mark II? There is no 50D mark II.

Its an EOS M50 Mark II and the memory card is full

I suggest you get a new name-brand card that can record at the maximum speed in the table.

You said that you reformatted your card, but that it also is full. How do you know it's full? Did you put the card in a computer or a memory card reader attached to your computer and checked to see how much space is being used?

What do you have on it? 512 gigabytes of data is an awful lot of data.

The blinking light is maybe the camera trying to write data to the card, but if it's already full, 15 seconds maybe all that's left on your card..

What movie mode are you recording in?

When a camera stops recording video after 15 seconds, it's almost always related to the storage media. Either the card wasn't formatted in camera, Is defective or the cards specifications do not meet the bandwidth requirements for the recording mode.

I would reformat my existing card, choose a lower recording format or try another card to start.

Possibly, but the max time you can set on the camera is 8 seconds.
