topic EOS R5 Mark II custom button for Spot AF in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

Upgrading from EOS R6 Mark ii to the EOS R5 Mark ii. With my R6ii, I had it set up with the shutter button to activate AE and AF with tracking, and I typically used a large AF area. Then I had AF-ON back button set to spot focus, regardless of the AF area that I was using with the shutter button. That way I could use a large subject detection AF area with the shutter half press or have the ability to pick small details with the back button. Is there a way to do this with the R5ii?

Are you saying the R5 Mark II does not allow that custom function in the [AF-ON] control? Somet controls have additional functions made available when you press [Info] during programming.
