    <description>&lt;P&gt;Nat2,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Use a photo that you think is overexposed. Using the info button on your camera, look at the settings your camera chose.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Now, flip your camera over to Manual Mode and take the same picture under the same kind of conditions, but this time, manually dial in a faster shutter speed, or a smaller aperture.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;(I suspect your shutter speed might have been too slow for a moving subjects in the original, but that's just a guess on my part.)&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;You are not giving us much to go on. Can you share some examples?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Does the over-exposure go away when you use some other focus method?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
