I have the beep disabled on my new R6 Mark II but I still hear some muffled beeps coming from the camera. It almost sounds like it’s a distorted beep like there is a malfunction. I’ve read that it could be IS or AF. Has anyone else experienced this?

Not I. What event or events trigger the sound(s) you are hearing? IS and AF can definitely make noises inside of a lens. I suppose IBIS could within the camera also, although I've never noticed it. That could just be because the levels aren't above my hearing loss and tinnitus. And IS and IBIS can both rattle as well. LOL - sounds like an old jalopy doesn't it! But they aren't functional concerns, usually.

Do you have more than one lens so you can see if it sound the same? Years ago I had a lens that seemed to amplify the mirror sound, but of course your camera has no mirror, it's just an example to make sure it is not the lens.

My R6 Mark II makes no noise (that I can hear anyway).

So far, it is making the noise when it has the kit lens, RF 24-105 mm f4-7.1 is STM attached. It happens when I move the camera round and also when I halfway press the shutter button. I tried another lens with mount adapter, Sigma EF 600mm f5-6.3 and it did not make the noise. I haven’t tried any other lens yet.

Sounds possible and agree about calling it in. I put copy of that lens on my R6 MII and only hear the AF motor from the lens (and only if I put my ear close to it), and no beeps.
