Looking for advise with Canon R6 MK II indoor wrestling.

What AF case do you typically use?

Which AF Method would you use it with 1-Point or zone, or single point?

For photography I typically shoot Av, Tv or Fv. Not sure if I understand what you mean by Auto or Case 2?

on the menu auto focus setting selection two there are the auto focus case settings
there are one through four or auto to select from

options one through four also have adjustments you can make

Ah, thanks for clarifying.

https://cam.start.canon/en/C012/manual/html/UG-05_AF-Drive_0100.html#AF-Drive_0100_2

For wrestling Auto is probably fine since movement is fairly concentrated.

I would probably start with Case 1, but Case 2 might work better if you are following one wrestler. I would start with one point, but you may want to try the Expand AF areas, they might work better on quick movements.

I've not shot wrestling with my R6 MKII, I use Flexible Zone AF3 for birds in flight and it does well, but with wrestling I think you can start more precisely.

If you have a free custom shooting mode set it up to where you want to start and make changes as you shoot. If you have more than one set up a couple of scenarios and test back and forth and tweak til you have what you want.
