60D displays error 20

my 60D displays error 20

and i cant view anything from the viewfinder, when i removed the lens to check the mirror appears to be up

i removed batteries but still it wont come down

how can i fix this? need help as soon as possible

Your camera needs to go to Canon service. Don't mess around insdie the mirror box.

I'll second that. It's always a bit scary when the person with a hardware problem is in a hurry. It's usually cheaper to provide for a backup camera than it is to monkey around with delicate assemblies with which you're not familiar and risk making things worse.
