I have a T7 and, at first, used a card reader or USB cable. By a stroke of luck, I discovered the card slot in the side of the laptop. I insert the card and follow the directions. Eliminates any and all problems. BTW, I have a laptop with W11.

We use the EOS T7's for state/government purposes and they work with a Win10 PC and application for taking photo's. I have an odd issue as now (on just one workstation), after every photo, the customer has to turn off/on the camera. It completely goes away from device manager and presents error: The camera is not currently available, please check the connection and try again. Rebooting the camera manually makes the PC find it again, it shows in DM and the next photo will work. I have replaced the PC, the camera, and the camera cabling and still get the same error after every photo along with "error occured while capturing the image". I know this is an odd scenario and will not apply to most in this community but I thought I would give it a whirl. I am stumped. Thank you.

Just out of curiosity, what software are you using to get the photo from the camera to the workstation?

It might be helpful to have a card reader handy just in case.

Sorry for the delay - a week from Hell. The problem ended up not being Computer SW related at all. Rather, there is a setting on Wrench #1 I believe that contains a camera shut off time. I was not aware of that and found that it was set to 30 Seconds. I thought that something like Antivirus was blocking it or that the PC was shutting it off and that was incorrect. I changed it to Disabled and the customer was able to take 4 photo's consecutively.
