EOS 90D - Exposure Simulation not there

Hi folks

I can't find my Exposure Simulation and have read previous posts on this.

Please see my screen shot. And if its factory reset - how do I do this properly.

Exposure Simulation will appear when the camera is set to live view and when out of Auto or any basic zone modes.

So that the Community can help you better, please provide the model EOS camera you are using. For example it may be something like EOS Rebel T7i or EOS R5 or similar name.

Thanks for your quick response. Just to clarify, I have to make sure none of the settings are Auto ( like ISO)?

When the camera is set to Auto ISO exposure simulation will always show a correct exposure. When not set to auto and you dial in exposure compensation that will be reflected in exposure simulation. By default it’s enabled.

Ramsden,

As I understand it, put your camera in Live View and hit your Menu button.

The setting is in the first tab (the red one), page 2. You can either Enable it, Disable it, or have it only enabled during metering. Exposure simulation is only available to you during Live View shooting.
