topic "Empty Trash" on SDHC card "repaired" 60D in EOS DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras

Has anyone else had this experience?

Without warning, in the middle of a shoot, my 60D stopped firing. Displays were screwy and inconsistent. LCD screen was dead. I tried: battery change, card change, lens change. I searched forums and started e-mail to Canon support. Then I fiddled some more with on/off, battery in/out, card switching.

And then ... I put the card (Lexar 64GB Platinum II) into my Mac and Emptied the Trash.

And now everything is fine.
